Reporting to the Head of Regional Install UK, you will provide first‑line leadership to field‑based engineers, ensuring delivery excellence, quality, and safety while supporting strategic growth and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Lead installation teams to deliver high‑quality fire suppression projects.
- Manage delivery, quality, and Health & Safety standards.
- Oversee financial work, bank, and support cost optimisation.
- Coordinate on‑site engineers and plan manpower/equipment to meet timelines and budgets.
- Monitor documentation, timesheets, and compliance.
- Conduct regular safety and quality audits.
- Identify development needs and support training plans, including appraisals.
- Manage workload to maximise productivity and forecast accuracy.
- Monitor budgets and prepare reports for senior management.
- Liaise with Credit Control to minimise disputes and ensure timely invoicing.

The ideal candidate has experience in an installation environment, proven ability to supervise engineering teams, strong organisational and communication skills, a full UK driving licence, and familiarity with mechanical fire suppression systems.
- Proven experience in an installation environment, preferably 3+ years in fire/sprinkler industry.
- Supervisory or managerial experience of engineering teams.
- Strong organisational and communication skills; ability to build and motivate high‑performing teams.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience with mechanical fire suppression systems.
- Good PC literacy, Microsoft Office; knowledge of LPCB BS12845 and/or NFPA standards preferred.
