Supply Chain Coordinator

Description

Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, the role oversees end‑to‑end import activities and production planning for the Hams Hall facility, ensuring timely and complete product delivery.

Key duties include managing import purchase orders, coordinating with international suppliers and freight forwarders, scheduling inbound and outbound transport, monitoring carrier performance, developing production schedules, ensuring raw material availability, tracking production progress, maintaining inventory levels, and acting as the central liaison among suppliers, logistics partners, warehouses and production teams.

• Manage import purchase orders and monitor supplier lead times
• Communicate order confirmations, delays and changes with international suppliers
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to track inbound deliveries and update ETAs
• Plan and schedule inbound and outbound transport for raw materials and finished goods
• Monitor carrier performance and resolve delivery issues
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on forecasts, inventory and capacity
• Ensure raw material availability and resolve shortages with manufacturing and procurement
• Track production progress and update planning and ERP systems
• Monitor stock levels, trigger replenishment and prepare KPI reports
• Act as primary liaison among suppliers, logistics partners, warehouses and production teams

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or production planning, along with hands‑on knowledge of manufacturing transport planning, ERP systems, advanced Excel, lean manufacturing and demand forecasting, and strong analytical and communication skills.

• Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or production planning
• Practical experience with production and transport planning in manufacturing
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and S&OP or demand forecasting
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present data‑driven recommendations
