Connects receiving hose and flows valve filters for each.
Records all required data on inventory, usage, mixing conditions, etc.
Accurately weighs ingredients of each to insure consistent composition of all batches.
Opens hatches and attaches ventilation filters for each bin.
Performs the following operations in receiving raw PVC resin:
Uses safe working practices and reports hazardous conditions at all times.
Climb and descend all ladders or steps whether fixed or portable on company facilities in order to access all areas if needed.
Measures PVC raw resin bins and blends silos and reports to Supervisor.
Activates pumps and adjusts the flow of material (vacuum).
Sets up and operates all equipment related to the mixing of raw materials.
May train inexperienced employees on the job as required.
Maintains proper temperature of mixing times, etc. to produce quality mixtures of raw materials.
Maintain work area in compliance with Total Housekeeping Management (THM) standards.
Keeps equipment and working area clean and orderly.
Walking through, under, and around equipment with a clearance of 30".
Operates hand and power truck when necessary.
Diverts resin to another silo when necessary.

Hear clearly and understand verbal communication whether it be face to face or via telephone.
Ability to feel objects, textures, size, and shape and to determine temperatures by touching of skin, primarily by that of fingertips.
Ability to confirm by sight quality level of raw materials to determine proper use of each.
Sight capabilities to identify accuracy and neatness of required job assignments.
Ability to grasp tools (manual as well as powered) and use them in accordance with a safe working manner so as not to injure oneself or fellow employees. (i.e., power saws, drills, hammers, presses, latches, etc.
Balancing to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching in all areas due to limited direct supervision and or observation.
Subject to unregulated atmospheric conditions caused by odors, fumes, gases, poor ventilation, and dusts. Subject to oils and other cutting fluids.
Hearing capabilities to distinguish differences in warning alarm indicators and standard operation indicators.
Sight capabilities to distinguish proper product identification as well as warning and operational indicators.
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling capabilities to handle job requirements such as operating, cleaning or packaging equipment and products.
Subject to extreme cold, temperatures below 32 degrees for period of more than one hour.
Have adequate sight, hearing and use of limbs to safely operate powered vehicles. (i.e., forklifts and sweepers).
Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body.
Ability to verbally communicate either face to face or via telephone with other fellow employees to accomplish all assigned job requirements.

Reports unsatisfactory operating condition in equipment to Supervisor.
Maintains forklift certification.
Ability to use caution when lifting or handling objects or equipment to remain within the recommended weight limit of 50 pounds and get assistance if material is over 50 pounds.
Sight capability to safely operate at arm’s length machinery and power and/or hand tools needed to accomplish the requirement of the job assignments for this position.
