Description

The Service Ambassador role actively manages the delivery of the “World’s Best Workplace” across office and cafeteria floors. You will be the primary point of contact for people seeking information, services, and assistance, communicating clearly at all times. The position also involves coordinating with various teams to maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the assigned area. Additionally, you will guide visitors, help professionals select appropriate meeting rooms, and suggest optimal options for events.

Your duties will include managing flexible seating arrangements, fostering community interaction, and taking responsibility for the floor environment across all stakeholder groups. You will oversee floor aesthetics, enforce clean‑desk policies, coordinate meeting‑room etiquette, and perform daily inspections to maintain a high‑quality workplace. The position also involves raising help‑desk tickets, monitoring unresolved issues, and keeping inventories of equipment and supplies. Regularly gathering feedback, planning events, and updating Floor Ambassador records are essential for continuous improvement.

• Build community engagement and foster stakeholder relationships
• Own and manage the floor space across all services and stakeholder groups
• Make decisions, guide behavior, pilot adjustments, and escalate issues
• Receive, share, and act on feedback; advocate for workplace innovation and collaboration
• Tailor tea‑point experiences to audience needs as directed by the client
• Monitor for security concerns such as tailgaters and report suspicious activity
• Conduct observational studies, issue surveys, and collect employee feedback
• Issue monthly summaries of space utilization, feedback, and events
• Organize community events and maintain a log of initiatives to increase collaboration
• Keep up‑to‑date Floor Ambassador files (orientation, signage, etc.) in SharePoint
• Assist individuals in finding workstations and prepare visitors (seat, printing, headsets, etc.)
• Support team administrators with onboarding/off‑boarding, kit distribution, locker assignments, and floor orientation
• Ensure meeting rooms and event spaces are set up correctly and run smoothly
• Provide concierge‑level services beyond normal duties when needed
• Manage floor aesthetics, organization, and maintain quality over time
• Proactively address and tidy items left in communal areas, pantry, and mud‑room
• Champion clean‑desk policy and work with stakeholders to enforce it
• Remove unattended personal belongings and manage lost‑and‑found labeling and returns
• Reset desks and conference rooms to proper configurations
• Manage meeting‑room conflicts and promote etiquette
• Oversee floor filing and locker allocation for individuals and departments
• Conduct daily floor checks and audit cleanliness, addressing issues immediately
• Adjust cleaning schedules to resolve recurring issues
• Manage whiteboard and bulletin‑board content, ensuring timely removal
• Submit help‑desk tickets for identified issues and update signage
• Perform regular punch‑list inspections to pre‑identify problems
• Coordinate with help‑desk to resolve repeat issues and implement long‑term solutions
• Track outstanding help‑desk tickets to ensure same‑day resolution
• Verify functionality of floor TVs and way‑finding screens
• Manage inventory of resident kit (headsets, coffee mugs, keyboards, mice) and maintain reserves
• Serve as technical resource for floor equipment and provide immediate assistance
• Observe health‑ and safety guidelines, using signs and barriers as required
• Monitor temperature and report according to procedures; control blind dressing

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or a hospitality diploma and possesses strong communication skills. One to two years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospitality setting, is required. You should be comfortable interacting with diverse audiences and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
