Description
Ensures personnel are monitoring aged inventory levels and slowing moving inventory.
Ensures the timeliness and accuracy of month end closing.
Calculates and reviews inventory turns.
Assists with the year-end audit as needed
Responsible for the daily review and analysis of product margins including cost issues.
Capital expenditure request analysis.
Responsible for the integrity of the perpetual inventory system.
Development, analysis, and interpretation of accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the plants assigned.
Spearheads the development or improvement of these systems and controls.
Verifies the integrity of all systems, processes and data.
Assists with the coordination and preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures.
Reviews any unusual adjustments.
Provides necessary financial analysis to plant managers and sales managers. Multiple plant responsibility
Performs as the primary contact with plant personnel for any accounting related questions.
