Lead the installation of electrical systems that interconnect the solar array to the grid
Work with branch team and homeowners to fulfill any necessary system repairs to support solar equipment installation
Lift up to 50lbs and climb a ladder to multiple story homes (daily)
Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
Interface with branch leadership to ensure compliance with electrician / labor ratios and continuing education requirements
Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes
Work cooperatively with team members to complete residential solar installations.
Ensure that the work is performed in a professional and efficient manner to conform to existing national and local building codes

Must have an active journeyman license
Strong interpersonal/human relations skills
Ability to travel and have flexible schedule (Company vehicle is provided)
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
Ability to complete work as scheduled
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be a licensed electrician
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Solar
Prolonged periods of repetitious duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods (daily)
Ability to effectively manage work to achieve required timelines
Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work
Must be able to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, attics etc.) (daily)
Ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings
Ability to understand or have experience in Electrical Panels including Sub Panels (MBD derate, conduit bending, relocating circuits, etc.)
Certified OSHA/OSHA10/30 preferred
Must be able to work at great heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders, and stairs (daily)
Ability to read and interpret single line drawings
High School diploma or equivalent, or Technical/trade school training in solar or electrical system is preferred.
5 years of experience with battery installation and repair
Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements and have valid driver's license while maintaining a clean driving record
Working knowledge of the NEC (NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE) required and local AHJ requirements
