In this development program you will use modern project and program management tools to execute projects for electrical power monitoring systems, provide on‑site implementation of Power Management and mission‑critical monitoring platforms, and deliver engineering consultation for system integration, installation, start‑up, maintenance, repair, training and modification of power management and control systems. The role prepares you for technical and future leadership positions through a structured curriculum of instructor‑led, virtual, eLearning and on‑the‑job training with mentors.

The position is based in one of five U.S. regions, requires compliance with Eaton’s safety program, variable hours, travel, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain DOT qualifications. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.

- Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering (graduation before Aug 2026) with GPA ≥ 2.8.
- At least one internship/co‑op or 3 months experience in a technician/maintenance role.
- Willingness to relocate within the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license with MVR clearance.
- No immigration sponsorship; must be eligible to work without CPT/OPT etc.
- Degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science.
- GPA ≥ 3.2.
- Prior experience in electrical/power industry, testing, troubleshooting, power quality measurements, protective relays.
- Demonstrated campus or community leadership.
- Ability to work variable hours, nights, weekends and travel as required.
- Drive an Eaton vehicle and obtain DOT non‑CDL qualification if needed.
- Experience with HMI and power monitoring software.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP).
- Strong Windows OS and database skills; intermediate networking (Ethernet, Fiber).
- Understanding of power quality meters, trip units, protective relays, UPS.
- Proficiency with test equipment, diagnostic instruments, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Ability to interface with customers, sales, and team members technically.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication/presentation abilities.
