Tax Coordinator
Prime Residential
Develops and manages luxury single‑family, multi‑family, vacation and workforce housing across thriving U.S. communities.
Manage tax filings, payments and compliance for real‑estate partnerships and investors.
Collaborate with Tax Manager and Accounting team to accomplish various assignments
Assist in preparing the taxable income estimates for various partnership entities
Assist in ad-hoc projects
Work with internal and external accounting and operational professionals to obtain and collate the information required in connection with the preparation of tax returns
Assist in distribution of the K-1 schedule to investors
Assist in performing research on various state and local tax issues
Maintain investor data up to date in all systems
Draft replies to low complexity tax authority correspondence; deal with telephone-based requests from tax authorities
Assist in client services with Investor tax issues, including questions regarding K-1s and tax basis
Document Management – Scan, file and maintain documents in electronic filing systems
Assist in reviewing federal and state tax returns prepared by external providers
Assist in preparing tax payments (FTB tax, OR tax, withheld tax) and estimated tax payments
Oversee workflow status of tax returns and deliverables
Prepare capital expenditure analysis for tax purposes
Assist in mailing tax returns, tax payments and tax notice correspondence documents via FedEx, USPS, etc.
Assist in responding to various IRS and state tax notices received from tax authorities
Assist in preparation of CA Form 592 and distribution to investors

Advanced MS Office skills, specifically excel, and other property management software abilities
2+ years of accounting, business administration and/or real estate experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
BA/BS in Accounting or related field
A dedicated team player with an ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups. Having a keen sense of urgency, initiative, and drive will allow the Tax Coordinator to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment of frequent change and ambiguity
