Check all dock lifts to ensure proper operation; Ensure edge of lifts are in the up position when not in-use to avoid damage by trucks. Report any issues to supervisor(s)
Tour dock during day addressing any spills, oil leaks from vehicles. Apply oil dry if needed, sweep when dry.
Sign for all FedEx and UPS packages. (Log)
Organize/sort any overnight packages to be picked up by mailroom. (Log in delivery log and CMMS (eFOS+).
All deliveries/packages are to be recorded on the delivery log sheets and entered daily into the CMMS (eFOS+) ticket.
When dumpsters are removed, sweep area prior to dumpster returning
Tour loading dock beginning of each shift, looking for leaks, trash, dirt/debris.
Once a week (Fridays) wash down loading dock lower area and all diamond plate coverings.
Assist trucks in any questions or issues that may arise
Sweep dock areas.
