Maintain up to date and accurate as-built drawings
Review and interpret contract documents
Coordinate and assist with information distribution to subcontractors through shop drawing reviews
Assist in implementing and monitoring the quality control, safety and environment programs
Conduct field topographic survey pickups and troubleshoot survey layouts
Coordinate field details, site inspections and liase with field subcontractors/consultants and field Superintendent.
Provide clear survey notes and sketches for each control line and grade shot taken and check calculations
Mark and label survey points and record field data according to job specifications
Conduct day to day layout and grading tasks in accordance to project design and ensure measurement of correct distances

Ability to work on several projects as needed
Knowledge of the construction industry and construction specifications, methods and procedures
Ability to understand the project schedules critical path
Experience using Trimble survey equipment considered an asset.
Experience using MultiStation or scanning considered an asset
Graduated from a recognized drafting, architectural, engineering or construction management program
Carpentry or concrete experience considered an asset
Experience with operating total station and survey equipment/GPS layout
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Technical understanding of surveying programs such as Auto CAD, Revit, Civil 3D etc.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years progressive experience, ideally related to site services and working in and around commercial/industrial type sites
Ability to do estimates for various quantities of materials (i.e. earthworks, concrete)
