Client focus – You will deliver key assignments, implement programme delivery environments (people, process, technology), promote quality and service excellence, and manage day‑to‑day contractor activities, design coordination, data collection, progress reporting, invoicing, payments and project meetings and reviews.
Integrity – You will manage project budgets, ensure fiscal and ethical viability, comply with organisational and legislative obligations, support senior stakeholders in long‑term strategy, and hold others accountable to Mace values.
Create opportunity – You will lead and develop your team, network and innovate using Mace’s knowledge hubs, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders up to C‑Suite, and support programme implementation and management.
Within our consult business, we combine leading‑edge practical expertise and project‑delivery consultancy to unlock potential in every project. We are supporting a strategic UK client on a £5 bn capital investment programme to transform infrastructure, and we seek NEC4 ECC‑accredited Project Managers with pre‑construction and construction experience.
Safety first – You will champion safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and compliance, possess advanced knowledge of local health‑and‑safety regulations, and foster a diverse, inclusive environment that supports the wellbeing of the people you manage.
Required experience – Professionals with at least 10 years post‑qualification experience, a construction background, a degree or HND/HNC, membership of a relevant professional body (CIOB, APM or RICS), large public‑sector experience (defence or security desirable), NEC4 accreditation, technical leadership, the ability to work independently, manage junior staff and an entrepreneurial mindset. A valid security clearance (or eligibility) and familiarity with Microsoft Project are also required.
