Deep knowledge of optical networking, specifically including DWDM/OTN & Ethernet from various vendors. SONET DS1 thru OC192 and SDH is a plus.
Must be able to provide own PC desktop support.
Associate degree or higher in engineering or computer science field.
Candidate should be located in the continental United States, preferably within 2 hours of a major airport for travel.
Knowledge of TL1, SNMP, CLI, REST, RESTCONF, Netconf/Yang protocols
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, as well as other communication packages – Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, Zoom, BlueJeans, Google Meet, and others utilized daily, with video.
Understanding and experience with leading telecom equipment, optical networking, and troubleshooting skills.
