Traveling Construction Superintendent (Mission-Critical Projects)

Description

• Lead, supervise, and mentor construction crews and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals, schedules, and company standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, punch lists, and change orders, ensuring accurate tracking and client communication.
• Provide input during preconstruction planning for resource allocation, scheduling strategies, and risk mitigation for upcoming projects.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules, material deliveries, logistics, and site resources across multiple project locations.
• Support team development by coaching and mentoring on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve issues affecting cost, quality, or schedule.
• Implement and enforce site safety protocols, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to design specifications, building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality, technical, and design requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule integrity.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project sites nationwide.
• Proven experience as a Superintendent managing mission-critical or technically complex construction projects, such as Call Centers, Contact Centers, Law Enforcement, Firefighting, and EMS Dispatch Centers.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills; able to motivate and coordinate diverse project teams effectively.
