Works with Supervisor and Lead Hand to ensure that daily productivity targets are met in a timely and safe manner.
Sets up and operates break press and/ Or notching machines, in accordance with established safe procedures.
Contributes to the overall functioning of the team by maintaining awareness of best practices/emerging issues, both internally and externally, sharing best practices and building effective working relationships across the team and company.
Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
Comply with company’s EHS guidelines and ensure all required PPE are used while working on the manufacturing shop floor
Focuses on learning additional tasks and ensuring quality at all times.
Completes a variety of tasks within a department (Press Shop, Assembly line, Cut to length and Shear)
