Technical Safety Specialist

Description

• Provide support in the delivery of other related Health and Safety projects.
• Set high standards, by encouraging others to embed a HSQE culture.
• Ensuring Risk Assessment / Operational Procedures are in line with Safety Management System.
• Providing ongoing Health and Safety support.
• Managing day to day labs.
• Visiting various labs and sites as required, weekly.
• Provide reports on output and with relevant information for reporting up the line.
• Approval of Risk Assessments / Operational Procedures.

Requirements

This role will be based out of a lab facility in the Limerick region 1/2 days per week, but will require weekly travel to other locations in the region for site visits and meetings.

• Previous experience in lab environments would be beneficial.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar position.
• Full driver's license and vehicle.
• Minimum Diploma in Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work or equivalent.
• You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
• Previous experience in report writing and collation of information for KPI’s, safety metrics, presentations etc. required.
• Strong ability to prioritise tasks, work with schedules, and manage resources while remaining focused on main goals.
• Documentation Management, including version control, change management and controlled distribution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
