Content Marketing Intern

Description

• Auditing a brand’s messaging and marketing tatics
• Interns will facilitate a presentation of their Summer project to Clayton Senior Leadership at the completion of their internship.
• Completing and presenting a brand audit
• Participating in brainstorms and other relevant meetings for content optimization projects
• Writing and editing short-form copy assignments

Requirements

• Experience writing for and collaborating with a digital content team
• Willingness to learn from feedback and adapt writing style
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
• Comfort in presenting for a corporate audience
• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Understanding of tone, style, and voice consistency
• Ability to write clear, engaging, and concise copy
• Practical knowledge of SEO/AEO strategies
• Ability to research topics, industries, and competitors effectively
• Must be a rising senior, or recent graduate majoring in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English.
• Ability to collaborate with designers, marketers, and editors
• Comfortable creating slide decks and reports to present to the team
