Electrical Reliability Services provides electrical testing, maintenance, and diagnostics for critical infrastructure.
Troubleshoot, test, and inspect complex electrical systems as a traveling NETA Testing Field Technician. Act as 'Assistant Team Lead' on projects and perform other assignments as required.
Responsible for support equipment and maintaining shop supplies.
Foster a Customer-First Mindset
Complete projects consistently meeting customer’s deadline and on budget.
Perform support for field operations and simple electrical equipment testing, troubleshooting, inspections.
Perform tests and inspections on the following equipment: low and medium voltage circuit breakers and switchboards, ground systems, motor control centers, medium voltage cables, ground fault systems, and two-winding transformers.
Write complete, detailed reports promptly at end of day/project using a computer and the Company’s custom software.

Strong background and experience in most types of switchgear testing through the 230 kV class.
Passed the NETA II (International Electrical Testing Association) exam or NICET equivalent preferred.

Graduate Engineer BSEE or BSME and two years experience. OR Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent and five years minimum same or similar work experience. OR High school education or equivalent and six years minimum same or similar work experience.
Strong computer skills including editing, formatting and using templates in Microsoft Word, use of Internet for standards/products/manufacturer research and operation of computer controlled test equipment.
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards, such as OSHA and NFPA.
