What you would be doing

- Define and deliver configuration requirements to customers.
- Be the Hexagon’s product specialist and the technical reference on solution implementations in the region, coaching and owning the delivery of services towards to the deployment of sustainable and good quality solutions according to the agreed contracts, plans, frameworks and design.
- Assure the alignment of the proposed solutions through planning, implementation and execution.
- Participate in pre-sales activities as required; assist in the preparation of quotations and tender process responses such as EOI’s, RFT’s, RFQ’s as required.
- Gather and translate business and technical requirements.
- Play a leading role in the design, specification
- With this broad knowledge and understanding of Hexagon’s solutions, develop end-to-end solution architecture for customer solutions
- Support the implementation and upholding of architectural governance controls across the SDLC and project management frameworks
- Conduct training sessions and run customer workshops as required.
- Develop a broad understanding of all Hexagon products, services, and markets, as well as staying abreast of all new releases and products; maintain awareness of constantly changing software systems; act as Hexagon SME
- Writing technical documentation.
- Submit all project work and in-progress updates in a timely manner.
- Pro-actively identify blockers, challenges and risks and take steps to close issues and make quick but informed decisions within deadlines.
- Actively participate in software configuration planning and management.
- Be the team lead of small technical team, guiding them to deliver according to the agreed plans and frameworks.
- Proactively communicate all design, build, testing and quality risks, assumptions and dependencies for timely escalation.
- Lead and mentor technical team through collaboration to meet project and delivery deadlines.
- Configure and implement the applications at the expected high quality.
- Assess, recognise and flag the impact of decisions taken across other functional areas (including implementation, testing, development, CX and so on) with Leadership and Senior Leadership Teams. Ensure the team follows Hexagon’s process.

- Tertiary level qualifications in Software Engineering/Computer Science or similar relevant discipline
- Knowledge of .NET is preferred.
- Certification in SAFe, Microsoft, Citrix, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar databases will be highly regarded
- Experience in selling, architecting, and delivering cloud solutions
- Cloud, Infrastructure and/or architecture knowledge is highly desirable
- Previous experience in similar roles or software vendors
- Understand customers' diverse, specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet those needs.
- Minimum 7 year' experience as Solution Architect or similar
- Business Analysis skills would be advantageous
- Leadership training and experience
- Knowledge of operational workflows within public safety would be advantageous
- Previous experience in leading small technical teams would be advantageous
