The Lead Customer Education Specialist / Trainer will work within the Customer Organisation to drive client retention by understanding workflows and delivering bespoke training and demonstrations. The role spans multiple industry segments, requires travel within the region, and collaborates closely with research, product and consultancy teams to ensure consistent messaging and maximize the value of Wood Mackenzie subscriptions.
- Build deep knowledge of products and roadmap in the assigned vertical.
- Analyze client needs and design tailored workflow solutions.
- Deliver workflow‑based training and demos to increase usage, upsell and retention.
- Respond to Level‑3 inbound queries promptly and comprehensively.
- Support peers by swarming on complex queries.
- Collaborate with Account and Customer Success Managers to embed products into client workflows.
- Capture engagement and training metrics in Salesforce for reporting.
- Provide product feedback to owners and influence the development roadmap.
- Create self‑serve training materials and best‑practice guides across the organisation.
- Act as Lens platform ambassador, communicating product enhancements.
- Develop relationships with key customer contacts to understand roles and workflows.

- Experience in Customer Education within B2B SaaS, data analytics or related sectors.
- Background in oil & gas, energy or natural resources.
- Strong presentation, public speaking and training abilities.

- Intellectual curiosity about data analytics and its business impact.
- Ability to build relationships from end‑users to senior stakeholders.
- Skill in handling complex data sets and understanding customer workflows.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with self‑managed workload.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and intermediate Excel.
