Coaching and mentoring the Fire Capability Managers and Fire Station Managers in fulfilling their SHEQ responsibilities and accountabilities.
Lead in the development and writing of work instructions, doctrine, policies and procedures for fire safety.
Managing and applying the Ventia SHEQ governance framework and management system.
Conducting SHEQ inspections, interactions, audits and implementing corrective and preventative action.
Working with and across teams, to apply relevant legislation, regulations and standards.
Facilitating incident and injury management procedures, including investigations and stakeholder management.
Using systems and processes to enable an integrated approach to SHEQ management so we continue to deliver on our legal, contractual and business requirements.
Reviewing risk management documentation e.g., SWMS, risk assessments and investigations.

Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement SHEQ strategies to ensure compliance, minimise risk and enable continuous improvement.
Ability to implement, track and maintain SHEQ objectives and targets.
Experience in a SHEQ role, with relevant industry experience desirable.
Drivers Licence required due to travel component of role.
Ideally you will have exposure in the fire fighting space, but not mandatory.
Experience in leading ICAM investigations an advantage.
Formal training in incident investigation.
Detailed knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements and ISO standards.
Strong document control background regarding inspection and compliance.
Proficient in using online applications including Microsoft Office, safety management and reporting systems.
Operational experience in high-risk environments advantageous.
