The intern will perform fundamental design and modeling tasks for stormwater, watershed, and water‑quality projects, assist with permit applications, CAD drafting, and GIS analysis, and collect and analyze engineering data while identifying discrepancies. They will prepare technical reports under senior guidance, support quality‑control efforts, communicate progress, and meet task deadlines.
Candidates must hold a BS in Engineering and be registered as an Engineer Intern (EI). No prior experience is required, though a 1‑year student internship or master’s degree is preferred. Required skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with ArcGIS, stormwater modeling software, or AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus, and a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR is needed.
