It would be great if you already had some knowledge of the recycling and waste management industry and the workings of local government, although this isn’t essential.
You will write well for a variety of audiences and channels, with accuracy and attention to detail. Naturally inquisitive, you will have an eye for a good communications opportunity and be confident dealing with a variety of stakeholders to build relationships, both internally and externally.
You will have some Public Relations and/or Public Affairs experience, either in-house or in an agency setting.
A valid UK driver’s licence.
The position is based at our head office in Maidenhead. Some travel to other sites in the region is required, for example to support site visits by the media and politicians or to host events.
