Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

• Data entry for accurately processing invoices and payment runs
• Matching and filing invoices and receipts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to route invoices for payment and ensure supporting documentation is attached.
• Request and review vendor statements.
• Data entry for accurate processing.
• Receiving and recording the receipt of invoices.
• Review and process purchase card transactions.
• Answering queries from suppliers, contractors, and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with check runs.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk that is a team player and good communicator. This role will support several departments with their accounts payable needs.

• Computer literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting and accounts payable software.
• Accounts receivable and collections experience a plus
• Knowledge of ComputerEase Accounting system preferred (not required).
• Good organizational skills, including the ability to multi-tsk and prioritize, to manage multiple accounts.
• Basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
• Strong verbal communication skills, including active listening and telephone manners.
• Interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, for building strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and business partners.
