Plans and directs onsite activities at client locations, overseeing the storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role manages onsite personnel, acts as a liaison between clients and vendors, and maintains safety and environmental standards.
- Coordinate logistics for hazardous and non‑hazardous waste transport, including profiling, scheduling, manifesting, and loading.
- Consult with clients to design and propose cost‑saving initiatives.
- Perform inspections and reporting to ensure compliance with client and government regulations; resolve issues promptly.
- Administer financial obligations for clients and vendors, handling invoicing, reporting, and contracts.
- Promote safety culture by training site personnel on safety, environmental, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Occasionally perform labor‑intensive tasks such as drum collection and bulking.
- Handle objects up to 50 lb and be exposed to physical risks (cuts, burns, toxic chemicals) daily.
- Work in environments with dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes; typical setting is a medical facility.

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Business, or related field, or high school diploma/GED with 4 years relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience plus required certifications: HAZWOPER, OSHA 24‑hour, RCRA and DOT compliance.
- Ability to pass customer‑specific drug/alcohol testing and provide required vaccinations.
- Training, communication, and supervisory/team‑building capabilities.
- Creative problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and strong leadership.
- Business acumen, financial knowledge, and self‑motivation with urgency.
- Use fine motor skills and finger dexterity most of the day.
