The Sr. Estimating Manager is an enterprise‑wide leadership position responsible for overseeing the estimating function across the division. The role ensures timely, accurate, and scalable bid delivery while driving continuous improvement, system development, and data integrity. It also serves as the escalation point for bid disputes, scope gaps, and cross‑functional issues, fostering a culture of service, speed, and accuracy.
- Lead and develop the enterprise estimating team with a servant‑leadership approach emphasizing accountability, speed, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure high‑volume, on‑time estimate delivery while owning quality‑assurance standards and operational controls.
- Act as primary escalation point for bid disputes, scope gaps, and interdepartmental conflicts, resolving complex issues independently.
- Drive estimating strategy by improving standards, tools, systems, QA metrics, division‑level pricing data, and advancing the IESR bidding platform.
- Own product specification decisions and estimating accuracy, partnering on risk identification, staffing models, workforce planning, and design support for residential and multifamily markets.
- Contribute to estimating department budgeting, forecasting, and alignment with pricing strategies, collaborating with Operations, Preconstruction, and Business Development.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business or a related discipline, with eight or more years of progressive construction estimating experience, primarily in residential projects. Leadership experience managing estimating teams and exposure to high‑volume bid environments are strongly preferred. The role also involves contributing to department budgeting, forecasting, and alignment with pricing strategies and margin policies.
Candidates must be able to work in a standard office setting, use computers extensively, and handle prolonged visual focus when reviewing plans and specifications. The job may include occasional travel and requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. A valid license is required.

- Work in a standard office environment with extended sitting and frequent computer use.
- Frequent use of computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment for typing, emailing, data entry, and document review.
- Communicate effectively in person, by phone, email, and virtual meetings, including while traveling or remote.
- Occasional business travel; ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods; lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lb occasionally.
