Maintain and support ECS systems and safety camera systems across all film lines.
Own and support vision systems, ultrasonic proximity systems, and in-line thickness measurement systems across multiple production lines.
Lead instrumentation design and project implementation for PET film and polymer manufacturing.
Serve as Radiation Safety Officer for beta gauge measurement systems.
Collaborate with operators, engineers, and leadership to identify and implement technical improvements.
Develop and implement custom instrumentation solutions, either internally or with external vendors.
Lead cross-functional teams through instrumentation and control system improvement projects.
Drive vision system upgrades, calibrations, and maintenance for web inspection systems.
Provide 24/7 operational troubleshooting support and lead preventive maintenance events to ensure uptime and accuracy.

Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and collaborative communication skills.
Strong understanding of inspection systems, distributed control systems, and industrial networks.
Programming knowledge in C/C++, Java, or HTML is beneficial.
Proficiency in maintaining computers, thickness control systems, and data communication networks.
Knowledge of industrial network protocols (Profibus, OPC, Modbus, ControlNet) is a plus.
3–6 years of experience as an E&I Engineer in a manufacturing or process environment preferred.
Equivalent Engineering Technology degree, military, or on-the-job technical experience will be considered.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, Computer Science, Robotics, or Mechanical Engineering (with controls focus).
Prior experience in plastic film manufacturing or in-line vision/thickness systems is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills (including linear algebra and array operations).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentation.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
