Assist in the delivery of water and/or wastewater projects, including evaluation and detailed design of water and wastewater treatment plants, supply wells, water reuse systems, distribution systems, conveyance, storage, and pipeline projects.
Work with local and state regulatory agencies for project permitting, funding, etc.
Mentoring junior engineers
Project Management, point of contact with clients, managing project delivery, budget, and schedule.
Travel to project sites and client meetings, with occasional overnight stays required

Successfully interfacing with multi-disciplinary design teams, including civil site design, structural, surveying, and geotechnical engineering
15+ years of progressive relative water/wastewater infrastructure design experience. Experience on hydraulic modeling software for water distribution and wastewater collection systems is preferred (Innovyze products)
California PE preferred or ability to obtain a California PE license within a year
Degree in Civil or Environmental engineering, an M.S. Degree in a related field is preferred
LEED and/or QSD/QSP is preferred
Local municipality, water district experience within CA is strongly preferred. Experience working in with other municipalities and public agencies in Southern California is a plus.
