The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the value of an assigned community, handling routine upkeep, repairs, and emergency responses, and stepping into the Maintenance Manager role when needed.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), at least one year of multifamily maintenance experience or relevant training, EPA certification (required), and preferably a CPO. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license are also required.
Physical requirements include the ability to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders, lift up to 50 lb (occasionally heavier with assistance), and operate various maintenance tools and computer equipment. The work environment involves indoor and outdoor settings, exposure to the elements, confined spaces, heights, and potentially hazardous areas.
