  • Be responsible for efficient and effective scheduling of resources and assets to ensure effective delivery of planned works.
  • Be responsible for planning & delivering track possessions in accordance with the annual plan.
  • Effectively coordinate worksites operating inside possession limits.
  • Negotiate and coordinate track access with key stakeholders particularly at possession interfaces.
  • Facilitate possession meetings to ensure information transparency.
  • Ensure possessions are managed to facilitate all required work in line with the annual works plan & possessions management procedure.
  • Devise and implement safe working plans in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Devise and implement contingency plans including short notice possessions as required.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills; good interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Highly developed negotiation, influencing, analytical, problem resolution, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Miro.
  • A detailed understanding of train planning and possessions planning in the rail environment, or the ability to quickly acquire these skills
  • Demonstratable advanced analytical ability & problem-solving skills.
  • A detailed understanding of the ARTC asset including possession access locations and interface points.
  • Demonstratable ability to influence others to provide information to meet set timeframes.
