- Be responsible for efficient and effective scheduling of resources and assets to ensure effective delivery of planned works.
- Be responsible for planning & delivering track possessions in accordance with the annual plan.
- Effectively coordinate worksites operating inside possession limits.
- Negotiate and coordinate track access with key stakeholders particularly at possession interfaces.
- Facilitate possession meetings to ensure information transparency.
- Ensure possessions are managed to facilitate all required work in line with the annual works plan & possessions management procedure.
- Devise and implement safe working plans in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Devise and implement contingency plans including short notice possessions as required.

- Unwavering attention to detail
- Knowledge of applicable network safeworking rules & procedures
- Experience with Possession Access Coordination Tool (PACT)
- High level of computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment.

- Advanced verbal and written communication skills; good interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Highly developed negotiation, influencing, analytical, problem resolution, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Miro.
- A detailed understanding of train planning and possessions planning in the rail environment, or the ability to quickly acquire these skills
- Demonstratable advanced analytical ability & problem-solving skills.
- A detailed understanding of the ARTC asset including possession access locations and interface points.
- Demonstratable ability to influence others to provide information to meet set timeframes.
