As a key member of the maintenance team you will service solar panels and EV charging points on both commercial and domestic properties, perform inspections, testing, fault finding and remedial electrical work. You will manage your own workload, coordinate with the office for materials and logistics, and act as the primary technical contact for customers, delivering high‑quality service.
- Ensure health & safety compliance on all sites.
- Service EV charging points, solar panels, and perform remedial electrical work.

The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician with 18th Edition certification, NVQ Level 3, an ECS Card and the necessary safety qualifications for work at height and confined spaces. You must hold a full UK driving licence, pass an enhanced DBS check and demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving, IT and organisational skills.
- Travel to various UK sites, majority of time spent on‑site.
- Maintenance & servicing experience as an electrician.

- ECS Card with additional safety qualifications (working at heights, confined spaces).
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.

Benefits
The Maintenance & Servicing Electrician role is a permanent, full‑time position within the Solar Team – Field Based, reporting to Neil Johnstone. Based nationwide with a salary of £40,000‑£45,000, the role offers travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
The package includes 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and a birthday day off, a performance‑linked bonus up to 10 %, stay‑away allowances, fully provided uniform, PPE and tools, and a solid pension scheme. An enhanced bonus package will be introduced in January.
