Description

• Provide accurate reporting on subcontractor progress and performance.
• Subcontractor management across multiple work packages.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual and legislative obligations.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and internal engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with project commercial systems, codes, and procedures.
• Access global expertise with the support of a world-class construction group.
• Our Commercial team members typically manage 15–30 subcontract packages at any one time, processing between $1m–$15m per month in progress claims.
• Review and process variations, claims, and extensions of time/notice of delays.
• Commercial interface with engineering teams to achieve best-for-project outcomes.
• Manage subcontract procurement, administration, and close-out on lump sum and schedule of rates contracts.

Requirements

• 2–10+ years’ experience in commercial/contract administration within major infrastructure or civil construction projects.
• Degree qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law, or Commerce (or equivalent).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple high-value packages.
• Strong knowledge of subcontractor management, claims handling, and contract administration.
