- Up to 15% travel required
- Proficient with PSCAD, PSSE, CDEGS, EPRI workstations, and ATP
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must have the ability to travel across the United States and Canada
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including IEEE, NESC, CIGRE, EPRI, and others. Active participant on related industry committee is preferred.
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, clients and external agencies
- Proven track record of delivering complex transmission line studies for large scale, 500kV or above projects, from feasibility through detailed design.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. ABET accredited program or equivalent required. Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power is a plus.
- Experience working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Ability to work in a high-paced team environment
- Highly driven toward team success and professional growth.
- PE License required
- Experience providing expert testimony for public outreach and PUC hearings is preferred.
