Senior Commercial Lead, Renewable Energy Solutions (Deputy Head)

A digital decarbonisation platform automating emissions measurement, managing environmental instruments, and optimising renewables.
Lead RES sales, drive revenue, manage team, and advise corporate clients on decarbonization.
Drive sales engagements with customers through to closure, including submission and negotiation of commercial proposals, and negotiation of contractual agreements.
Drive sales revenue and margin for renewable energy products and services which include Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) and renewable energy brokering in Asia Pacific and European markets.,
Build relationships with the identified customers by providing value-adding advisory on decarbonization and solutions
Identify potential major corporate customers within the target industries for sales opportunities.
Lead and assist Head of RES on business strategy, go-to-market execution and day-to-day operation by working with other departments including Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Finance and Legal.
Lead the team in building sales pipeline and drive sales closure to achieve the periodic revenue and margin targets:
Maintain relationship with existing customers to drive recurring sales revenue.

This is a 100% in-office position. The successful candidate must be available to work from our corporate office during regular business hours
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
At least 12 years of commercial experience in energy/power purchase agreement (PPA) market or renewable energy project development with experience selling to significant multinational companies, and at least 8 years leading commercial teams with revenue targets.
Knowledge of voluntary/compliance markets for EACs, decarbonization, and/or corporate sustainability, will be advantageous.
Professional written and oral communication skills in English. Business level proficiency proficiency in another Asian language, such as Chinese, Korean or Japanese, will be advantageous.
Ability to lead and motivate a team of in-direct reports for performance.
Strong analytical skill with an eye for detail.
Experience with the rigor and governance of large corporates and the fast pace of massive scaling start-ups will be a significant advantage.
Experience in structuring commercial proposals with a strong track record of sales achievements and relationship management.
