As a Plant RO Technician, you’ll be on the front and back end of providing maintenance and qualitycontrol expertise on all types of mobile water treatment systems for customers all over the world. Thismission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including (but not limited to) reverseosmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), Gas Transfer Membrane (GTM) among others. Completes duties andtasks as directed by the Membrane Supervisor and Production Manager.
● Perform membrane cleanings and sluicing of media as needed.● May be utilized to assist the plant maintenance or electrical departments for various plantprojects and issues as needed.● Delivers external customer satisfaction through on-time preparation; through continuousimprovement initiatives and value-added projects that will ensure quality of equipmentcompleted while considering cycle times
● Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing● Working with chemicals for water treatment.● Ability and willingness for on call status for emergency response● Ability to work on a rotating shift of nights, days and holidays.
● High School Diploma, G.E.D., Home School Certification, or international equivalent to HighSchool Diploma● Valid drivers License● Basic Computer Skills● Use of hand and power tools.Preferred (if applicable):● 2 years of experience in industrial, refineries, water treatment or chemical plants.● Mechanical and electrical/instrumentation experience.● Forklift experience.● Basic PLC experience● PVC Pipe Fitting experience
