Senior Transportation Engineer (Highways)

The Senior Transportation Engineer (Highway) is a key leadership role responsible for driving the success of our newly established office in the Roanoke/Blacksburg/Christiansburg region, supporting the growth and development of RDA's Transportation Platform.

• Lead the Charge: Take the reins on challenging highway design projects, from concept to construction.
• Make an Impact: Interact directly with clients, agencies, and contractors, leaving your mark on the transportation landscape.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CADD/Design Software (MicroStation, InRoads, Geopak, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil3D)
• A knack for collaboration and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A P.E. license in Virginia (highly desirable)
• Strong technical skills in highway design, with a deep understanding of VDOT, AASHTO, and FHWA standards
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in highway engineering design
• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's a plus!)
