  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Research quality and compliance issues and recommend changes for improvement
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests
  • Partner with other stakeholders across our business to identify areas of improvement including the impact/ROI
  • Develops action plans with timelines to implement strategy; involves others in the process and incorporates best ideas into plan and gains buy-in through effective communication
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external departments; understands Kiewit’s core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues
  • Improve, execute, and efficiently communicate root cause analysis and insights that identify meaningful trends and opportunities for the business to act upon
  • Assist with special projects
  • Makes timely decisions with well-developed judgment, while considering alternatives, risks, and other critical decision factors
  • Work with legal and risk management departments to ensure protocols are being followed
  • Assist with the monitoring of internal controls
  • Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement (liaison)

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Demonstrates professional behavior and a positive attitude
  • Working knowledge of computers; proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Accounts Payable and/or Subcontract experience
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
  • Regular, reliable attendance
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely
  • Assertiveness: willing to take on learning activities and grasp developmental opportunities
  • Open to change and new information; able to rapidly adapt to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles; demonstrates flexibility in thought and action
  • Highly motivated and self-directed; initiative and a sense of urgency
  • Between one to three years of experience
  • Excellent analytical, math and organizational skills; ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • SAP background preferred
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
