The Facility Maintenance Manager will oversee site operations and lead a maintenance team at the Mumbai location. This includes ensuring reliable electromechanical and utilities services, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The manager is also responsible for budgeting, monitoring performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement.
- Manage and maintain electromechanical and utilities services on site.
- Develop and execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify risks and defects.
- Supervise and guide subordinate staff and technicians.
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of assets during defect liability and AMC periods.
- Recruit, train, and develop maintenance personnel.
- Establish budgeting controls and monitor SLA/KPI performance for internal and outsourced teams.
- Oversee vendor quotations, invoices, and contract renewals, ensuring timely payments.
- Schedule and lead monthly vendor meetings to address issues and corrective actions.
- Implement energy‑conservation initiatives and monitor monthly utility readings.
- Maintain equipment history cards, check‑sheets, and logbooks according to schedules.
- Respond to major complaints, coordinate with technical staff, and escalate as needed.
- Verify work permits and enforce safe working practices and procedures.
- Assist property management in risk assessments, root‑cause analysis, and mitigation planning.
- Create corrective, preventive, and emergency response action plans.
- Participate in evacuation drills and serve on the Emergency/Quick‑Response Team.
- Prepare engineering reports such as daily and monthly maintenance reports.
- Collaborate with regional, head‑office, and SME training teams to close required reports.
- Promote and enforce the “No Safety No Work” policy.
