In this position, the operator supports overall production by overseeing equipment operation, assisting higher‑level staff, training lower‑level operators, handling material movement, updating shop‑floor systems, and collaborating with technicians on equipment issues while upholding quality standards.
Successful candidates possess basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills, manual dexterity with small parts, the ability to perform repetitive tasks, and effective communication. They must interpret work orders, blueprints, and maintain a positive attitude while adhering to high quality standards. A high school diploma or equivalent and 6‑12 months of related experience are required, with equivalent education‑experience combinations considered.
The position offers an hourly base pay of $20–$22, dependent on education, experience, and market, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
