Our client are looking for a Site Engineer who will support the delivery of projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all site activities.
Support health, safety, and environmental duties when senior site staff are absent.
Report any unsafe situations and carry out work safely using appropriate protective equipment.
Conduct setting out, levelling, and surveying in line with project requirements.
Promote and adhere to all site health and safety requirements.
Resolve technical issues and ensure quality control throughout the project.
Prepare as-built drawings, reports, site diaries, and labour/plant/material returns.
Manage procurement needs and liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and the wider project team.
Identify and communicate risks related to underground services, ground conditions, and site operations.
Oversee day-to-day site operations and monitor workforce and subcontractor performance.
Review specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
Ensure temporary works designs and calculations are independently checked.
Check materials and ongoing works for compliance.
Plan and organise site resources to meet programme deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of underground services and ensure they are clearly marked.
