Makes recommendations and leads efforts to improve upon the service levels of the Commercial Mortgage Loan Servicing Operations team and the broader Investments Department.
Works collaboratively with IT to develop, automate and maintain reports.
Performs and analyzes monthly reconciliation of principal to correspondents.
Completes and evaluates quarterly correspondent certification review and reconciliations.
Evaluates and updates control documentation for the various mortgage loan processes.
Works with outside parties to facilitate issue resolution.
Maximizes the integrity and utilization of information entered into the Loan Servicing system for daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
Ensure timely recording of data to facilitate regulatory requirements.
Creates and evaluates reports for distribution to Senior Management, Underwriters, Investment department and rating agencies.
Assists with training and mentorship efforts for junior team members.
Manages, coordinates and monitors the timely collection of all due diligence for the closing process and responsible for onboarding new and processing ongoing life cycle activity related to Mortgage Loans.

3+ years relevant work experience – commercial mortgage loan closing, accounting, reporting and portfolio analysis or related experience.
Knowledge of the investment industry, including financial data management and reporting as well as applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Excellent judgement and analytical skills combined with attention to detail and thoroughness
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative relationships at all levels in the organization and customers, and other outside third parties, including auditors, correspondents, underwriting & closing staff, and third-party reinsurance staff

Bachelor’s degree in commercial real estate, finance or related field of study from leading institution
Strong communication skills with the ability to present clearly and offer practical advice
Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines while meeting timelines within a fast-paced work environment
Proficient with Aladdin, Precision LM, MS Access, Microsoft Excel and Word.
Master in Finance or Accounting, CPA, MBA and/or CFA is a plus
