Assist in preparing daily/weekly progress reports and documentation.

Troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance to resolve mechanical challenges on-site.

Work closely with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure mechanical activities are executed according to project specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.

Coordinate and monitor the installation and operation of mechanical systems, with emphasis on HVAC and Chiller equipment.

Support the commissioning process, including reviewing testing procedures and verifying system readiness.

(If QAQC experience) Perform quality checks, prepare inspection reports, and monitor corrective actions.

Conduct inspections and functional checks on HVAC and Chiller systems to ensure proper performance.

Ensure adherence to company standards, industry codes, and client requirements.

Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals for compliance.

Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Proven experience with HVAC and/or Chiller systems (installation, operation, and maintenance).

Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, standards, and best practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and meet deadlines

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Coordinator to support our project in Ashburn, VA on a short-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC and Chiller systems. A background in QA/QC processes will be considered a strong advantage.

Prior experience coordinating mechanical works on construction or industrial projects.

QA/QC background is highly desirable.
