The role involves leading structural design for a variety of building types, including air traffic towers, data centers, laboratories, and fuel storage tanks. You will apply expertise in structural methods, conduct site visits, and ensure quality control across all project phases.
Key responsibilities include serving as the lead project structural engineer, providing technical input, mentoring junior staff, presenting solutions to clients, and developing technical proposals with budget and schedule estimates. You will also review permitting agency standards and client design criteria to guarantee compliance.
Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, at least six years of relevant experience, and a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) designation. US citizenship is required. Preferred qualifications include recent experience on buildings and facilities projects, proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, RISA, and familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
The position offers relocation assistance and follows a hybrid work model requiring two days per week in the Atlanta office. The role is open only to candidates who can obtain US employment authorization; sponsorship is not available.
