Landscape Architect Intern / Co-op

Description

• Research, analyze and interpret land development regulations as they apply to project requirements
• Preparation of technical drawing submittals for all phases of the design process including entitlements, site plan, permitting, and construction documents
• Participate in construction observation including on-site landscape inspections, reviewing and processing of RFIs and submittals, and coordination with contractors and equipment suppliers
• Contribute to the overall success of the KEITH Team by following the firm’s standards of excellence in design, quality and project execution
• Assist with tree inventory and analysis both in the field as well as preparation of tree disposition plans and arborist reports
• Work collaboratively within KEITH’s multidisciplinary team setting to ensure well-coordinated design solutions
• Represent the firm at meetings, presentations, organizations, and other activities to help advance the KEITH team’s presence in the community
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings, design charettes and brainstorming sessions with the team
• Development of design sketches, sections, illustrative plans, renderings, and other graphic presentation materials

• Pursuing a BLA, BS or MS in Landscape Architecture or a related field
• 0-5 years of relevant work experience
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, team oriented, detail oriented, and strong organization skills
