Assembly Maintenance Overhauling Technician - Mechanical (UAE Nationals only)

Description

As an AMO Technician -Mechanic you will test, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. You will assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non‑conforming equipment while complying with HS&E policies and procedures.

• Perform maintenance and repairs of ESP equipment per operating specifications.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and refurbish equipment routinely.
• Conduct mechanical inspections.
• Use moderately complex diagnostic equipment.
• Review procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.
• Configure test stations and systems.
• Facilitate third‑party repair of equipment when required.
• Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Maintain records, schedule maintenance, and manage equipment filing systems for quality control.
• Perform inspection and disposition of parts and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HSE&Q policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Hold a high school diploma; college or engineering degree is a plus.
• Have prior experience in a mechanical workshop environment.
• Hydraulic engine and pump experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists, and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical circuits with ability to troubleshoot faults.
• Basic measurement instrument and hand‑tool knowledge.
• Advanced analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Advanced computer skills.
