Prepare Electrical Engineering fee estimates for proposals, project estimates, design reports and other technical documents as required. Manage and perform other related tasks as required to successfully complete the delivery and handover of projects.
Develop new business in the Ottawa area. Support the growth of the electrical team in Ottawa.
Supervise the work of Engineers, Designers and CAD Technicians, provide technical guidance, and mentor and develop junior staff.
Design work in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
Preparation of electrical single line diagrams, AC control schematics, wiring distribution schemes, panel schedules. Development of cable block diagrams and cable and conduit schedules. Design of physical layout of electrical equipment, cables, raceways, and grounding plans related to the various facilities within the plant. Coordination studies and arc flash calculations. Perform site inspections.
Lead and manage the delivery of the electrical design and systems in multi-disciplinary projects from preliminary design through completion.

Computer Skills - MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Must have a valid driver's license. Demonstrated excellent written and oral English communication skills.
10+ years' experience in electrical consulting, in various market verticals. Knowledge and application of the Canadian Electrical Code. Strong business acumen.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is an asset. Experience with industrial control system design and PLC programming is an asset.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with PEO.
