This position will support the work of the AECOM Project Manager and Inspector / Quality Assurance
Actively support the other AECOM embedded site staff and specialty site inspectors, and reach-back resources who will provide oversight and technical quality review of progress to support the delivery of a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality.
Responsible for managing a singular high profile complex multi-year project embedded at the project site to achieve specified objectives.
Provides objective analysis and sound judgement with application of principles and techniques to evaluate and report project performance from concept study to construction & startup including practical assessment of schedule completion and expected final cost.

The Construction Project Controller shall have previous experience on projects of similar size and complexity as well as satisfy the requirements listed below.
Experience participating on integrated collaborative teams supporting and/or managing complex projects
A valid driver's license, US Passport recommended as work is at an border crossing, although travel to Mexico is not a part of the job requirements.

Professional organization Certifications a plus.
Familiarity with Federal contract administration, public contract codes, federal acquisition regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in business management or construction management (from an accredited college/university), plus eight (8) years of related experience (YORE).
This position requires someone who can confidently provide the controls and administrative support for an integrated collaborative team on a high profile complex multi-year project at the project site to achieve specified objectives.
Proven Experience performing and supporting the successful completion of similar projects in comparable environments and conditions.
Experience participating on integrated collaborative teams executing construction phase CM/PM support services, Owner’s Representation, field observation, and contract management, closeout and warranty phase management.
BA/BS + 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Familiarity with Federal and local government office building projects, with procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements
Federal (or state/municipal) governmental experience.
Land Port of Entry (LPOE), Air Port of entry, embassy / military base or federal secure compound / facility experience.
