  • Monitoring compliance with contract terms and conditions
  • Coordinate with contractors, utility agencies, Metro departments, and other stakeholders
  • Reviewing contractor work for conformance with contract requirements
  • Maintain organized documentation of all contract activities, correspondence, and reports
  • Assist with post-award contract administration activities, including:
  • Preparing and processing change orders and contract modifications
  • Support the implementation and tracking of change control procedures per project requirements
  • Review and support the processing of pay applications and invoice validation

  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws related to public sector contracts
  • This role requires experience in public-sector construction projects, strong contract administration knowledge, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with various project stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with relevant business software applications (e.g., MS Office, contract management tools)
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
  • 10+ years of experience in contract administration or related change management on heavy civil construction / project management work
  • 4+ years of experience in contract administration or related change management on heavy civil construction / project management work
  • In-depth knowledge of public procurement and contract administration practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent relevant experience
  • Understanding project management principles and construction processes
