- Monitoring compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Coordinate with contractors, utility agencies, Metro departments, and other stakeholders
- Reviewing contractor work for conformance with contract requirements
- Maintain organized documentation of all contract activities, correspondence, and reports
- Assist with post-award contract administration activities, including:
- Preparing and processing change orders and contract modifications
- Support the implementation and tracking of change control procedures per project requirements
- Review and support the processing of pay applications and invoice validation

- Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws related to public sector contracts
- This role requires experience in public-sector construction projects, strong contract administration knowledge, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with various project stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with relevant business software applications (e.g., MS Office, contract management tools)
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
- 10+ years of experience in contract administration or related change management on heavy civil construction / project management work
- 4+ years of experience in contract administration or related change management on heavy civil construction / project management work
- In-depth knowledge of public procurement and contract administration practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent relevant experience
- Understanding project management principles and construction processes
