Reading and interpreting deeds, plats and other property record information
Participation on storm evaluation and restoration teams (if necessary).
Ensure surveying and mapping products are delivered to clients on schedule
Support field surveying activities in an appropriate manner that assists in meeting client expectations
Perform CAD mapping for Land Engineering projects
Stay informed on Land Engineering status for assigned projects and provide timely feedback to update progress schedules

Ability to read and understand surveying and property documents and drawings.
MicroStation experience is a plus
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
Knowledge of the various survey coordinate datums and projection systems and their differences
Responsible decision maker and schedule oriented
Capacity to establish client relationships, to focus on the needs of the clients.
Working knowledge of computer aided drafting and design (CADD) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software which focuses on surveying and/or civil engineering
Certified CAD Technician or CAD Certificate Program courses, a plus
AutoCAD Civil 3D certification (by Autodesk), a plus
Strong communication skills
High school degree, required
Use of basic office software (MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, PC file folder systems, etc.)
Strong customer service and teamwork attitude
Global Positioning System (GPS) experience is a plus
Use of Carlson Field & Office software is a plus
Field land surveying experience is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills required
Experience with LiDAR data and/or laser scanning data is a plus
Please be advised: Current Corporate Policy requires you to be IN the office @ 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA a minimum of four (4) days per week at this time. (Monday’s, Tuesday’s, Wednesday's & Thursday’s and if/when additionally required.)
Skill to function as part of a team and to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations
Good communication skills, ability to work with a team, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Working knowledge and use of AutoCAD or comparable mapping software is required
Strong computer skills required
Valid Georgia driver’s license, required
Minimum of 1 years of experience using computer aided drafting & design (CADD) related to land surveying and/or civil engineering is strongly desired
