- Assist in budget planning and cost control related to capital expenditures for manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process improvements.
- Supervise and guide a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians in daily tasks and project execution.

- Manufacturing Systems Design and Analysis
- Partner with design engineering in the development of new or improved product offerings focusing on process development and design for manufacturability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Occasionally working with machinery with moving parts/vehicles/forklifts/heavy machinery/sharp objects/other etc.
- Lead or assist in Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, and Kaizen projects focused on operational efficiency and cost reduction.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to address issues related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required
- Support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance coordination to minimize downtime.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Infrequently working around energized equipment with the risk of electrocution/scalding/burns/other etc.
- Support the Manufacturing Engineering Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating engineering activities within the Switchgear value stream.
- Collaborate with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturability of products.

- Master's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
- CAD Proficiency and manufacturing process simulation tools
- Sitting - Continuously required to remain in a stationary position and perform desk-based tasks.
- Infrequently exposed to wet humid/outdoor weather/extreme cold (non-weather)/extreme heat (non-weather) conditions/other etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with others
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or project lead role.
- Excellent organization and communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation); able to interface with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, from senior executives to support staff, and present compellingly to achieve buy-in from executives, managers and team members.
- Travel - Infrequently required to travel (up to 5%) and work extended hours when necessary. Potential to travel overnight.

- Ascending / Descending - Occasionally ascending or descending ladders/stairs/scaffolding/ramps/poles.
