U.S. Engineering is a leading provider of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction services.
The Preconstruction Manager is an integral part of the project development group for Innovations, reporting to the Director of Preconstruction Services. This role manages project designs and budgets from inception through the preconstruction phase and continues to serve as a resource throughout construction.
A bachelor's degree in engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) registration are strongly preferred, along with at least four years of HVAC and plumbing design experience; preconstruction experience may substitute for design experience. The candidate must have knowledge of HVAC and plumbing engineering, basic design expertise, budget management ability, proficiency in MS Excel, strong time‑management and organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
The position requires routine travel to project sites and a blend of office and field work, with occasional temporary assignments or relocations based on project needs. Physical demands include walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, lifting, as well as typical office tasks such as sitting, standing, and using a computer.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without future sponsorship. U.S. Engineering is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, complies with the Drug‑Free Workplace Act, and all offers are contingent upon a pre‑employment drug screen.
Compensation ranges from $97,760 to $138,000, with the final offer based on internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. Team members receive a year‑end bonus, paid time off, and an industry‑leading benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
